On Thursday, September 20, 2018, Jean-Marie was an honored guest speaker at the National POW and MIA Recognition Day at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (Fort Miley) at a public ceremony from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The ceremony was a beautiful and moving tribute to remember the sacrifices and service of those who were prisoners of war, as well as those who are missing in action.
